Pattern - Monica Poole Designs - Humming Bird

A fully machine sewn quilt as you go design made with Monica's modern method. The Humming Bird quilt is an interesting array of directional lines made prominent with "lightish" and "darkish" tones of patterned fabrics. The quilt top is made up of 2 1/2" wide strips, you can use jelly rolls, purchase fabric and cut your own strips or make it a scrappy quilt from your stash. The quilt also has the option of making it reversible with a pieced back or using the one backing fabric. The quilt Size is 155 cm (61") square. The pattern also contains instructions to add a 25 cm (10") one fabric border to make the quilt a double bed size measuring 203 cm (80") square.
