Saturday Sampler Quilts for 2010
We are happy to reveal our new quilts for 2010. Next year you will have some choices on how to make your quilt. All the quilts have the same blocks and inner borders. The two large quilts have two additional outer borders to make them larger. There is a little appliqué involved with these quilts. I raw edged with no fusible stabilizer all the appliqué. It was very quick. One quilt is needle turned and hand appliquéd. The other two quilts were blanket stitch on the machine. Bet you can't tell which technique was used on each quilt!
SMALL

LARGE

Your choices for next year are either a tone-on-tone or the red/green coloway. The small quilts finished at 65" x 80". The large quilts finished at 98" x 115". Everyone pays $5.34 for their first block in December. Make this block to receive the next one free at our January sessions. Because January 1 is a holiday, our 4 sessions will all be held on Saturday, January 2. You can come at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm or 3 pm to receive your second block.
We will give you a calendar of all the meeting times in 2010 when you sign up. Our 4 sessions will normally be 9 or 11 am on the First Saturday, and 3 or 5 pm on the day before the first Saturday.
Come by the shop to see the quilts in person and to sign up for our 2010 Saturday Sampler Program. |
